John Rex Pardy Decker passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at Rocky Mountain Village in Fernie, British Columbia, at the age of 87. John was born on April 27, 1938, in Woodstock, Newfoundland to Frederick and Virtue (Pardy) Decker. Brian Dennis Gawryluk, son of Mafalda and John Gawryluk, died peacefully at his home in Nelson, BC on Monday, February 16th at the age of 68 years. He was born in Fernie on July 14, 1957.  In the early 80’s, Brian left Fernie and settled in Nelson where he remained until his passing.
