November 20, 2020
Effective immediately, the Provincial Health Officer has implemented new restrictions pertaining to all
gatherings and events including Funerals, Celebrations of Life and Graveside Services

  • Any gathering (indoor or outdoor) is limited to a maximum of 10 people, including the officiant
  • Masks are mandatory by all those entering our facility for any reason
  • Contact tracing is required and will be kept for 30 days
  • Receptions are not permitted at any location
Cherished Memories has implemented several steps to prevent the risk of transmission which includes the following measures:
  • Our facility is cleaned and sanitized prior to every meeting/service. High touch surfaces are sanitized routinely throughout the day
  • Our floors have been clearly marked and signage is in place to remind people to follow physical distancing protocol
  • Pews have been removed from our chapel to allow for proper distancing
  • Hand sanitizer is provided and we ask that you sanitize upon entering and exiting our facility
  • Our family room has been temporarily closed to the public; all meetings are held in our chapel area. Meetings can also be done via phone/Facetime or Zoom if families are more comfortable with that option
  • During services, people will enter/exit through specified doors only
  • No singing will be allowed during services; music will be pre-recorded only
  • Visitors experiencing symptoms including fever, cough and shortness of breath or have been in contact with or have recently travelled are asked to refrain from entering Cherished Memories. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs by phone or email
Thank you for your patience, understanding and support as we work together through these challenging times.
