Please note
You are invited to join family and friends on July 16, 2022, to honor the life of our brother and loved one John Cimolini. Together as a family and community we will place John’s ashes to rest, next to his mother Adeline, father Siro, and brother Jimmy, in the Old Elk Valley Michel Cemetery (425 Michel Creek Rd, Sparwood, BC). Father David will provide a blessing and prayer at 1:30 pm. Following the burial there will be a reception at the Sparwood St. Michael's Catholic Church Hall from 2:00PM – 4:00PM (158 Hemlock Rd. Sparwood BC). John lived a selfless, humble, and charitable life dedicated to honoring Jesus. He gave his life and devotion to serving the people and the Church of Natal/Michael and Sparwood. We knew him as a brother, spiritual mentor, teacher, pianist, a peaceful and thoughtful man. We remember John’s love of nature which he was always willing to share with anyone interested in going along for a hike. He never spoke a harsh word of anyone and gave all he earned to those he felt needed his support. Money, appearances, or material goods held no value for John; his values were based on a genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people around him. He inspires us by his example; to live our lives with humility, charity, kindness, trust in others, and faith in the Holy Spirit. Please join friends and family on Saturday July 16th, as we celebrate the life of our kind friend and brother John.
