Gordon PETERS

With family by his side, Gordon Peters passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the age of 91 years. He was born on May 12, 1931 in Coalhurst, AB.

Gordon was the beloved husband of Evelyn, and greatly loved by his six step-children: Louis, Terry (Karren), Sharon (Vic), Rick (Manon), Lynne (Ron), and Carol (Bob), “Papa” to 11 step-grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers Jack, and Art as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William and Gabriel, two brothers and two sisters.

Gordon’s working years were spent as a logger, truck driver, and electric shovel operator.

His passing will leave an empty spot in our hearts and lives.
