Dwane DANYLAK Obituary

On Monday, April 1st, our father, brother, uncle and friend, Dwane Lawrence Danylak, died suddenly in Cultus Lake, BC at the age of 53 years. The fourth of five children, Dwane was born in Edson, AB on February 26, 1966 to parents Nicholas and Lucy Danylak, a little brother for Wesley, Donald and Rose.

From the very beginning, Dwane was a character! He was quite the instigator and enjoyed pranking anyone whenever the opportunity presented itself. Dwane always chose to live life his way, resisting authority and challenging his parents at every turn. He loved his family deeply – but answered to no one! Dwane has left us with a lifetime of memories and good times and will be dearly missed. Cheers till we meet again!

Dwane is survived by his daughter Ayla Danylak of Alberta, his brother Donald Danylak of Yahk, sisters Rose McCormick of Creston and Dawna Danylak (Chris Marquardt) of Fernie, nieces Kristina McCormick of Creston and Kayla McCormick of Edmonton, nephews Brandon Danylak of Fernie and Matthew Danylak of Yahk, and his great niece and nephew, Samantha Sundby-Chipesia and Cameron McCormick of Creston as well as numerous aunts and uncles and his long time friend Terry Zahirney. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wesley Danylak, great niece Stephanie Lynn McIntosh and great nephew Jaydon Danylak.
