THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR HAROLD WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JULY 27TH AT 11:00 AM AT CHERISHED MEMORIES "SERENITY CHAPEL"

With great sadness we announce the sudden death of Harold Wayne Schwindt, our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Harold died suddenly on Wednesday, July 17th at the age of 66. He was born in Fernie on March 2, 1953 to parents Eldon and Edith Schwindt.

Harold will be dearly missed by his wife Janice, daughter Lyndsey (Dany) Vinet, son Kurtis Schwindt, and his precious grandchildren: Kaelen, Tye & Rhys Vinet. Harold is also survived by brothers Ross (Patsy), Ken (Shelly), and Keith (Etienne), sister Susan (Richard), and his sister-in-law Joan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, and his grandson Kieran Vinet.

Harold was passionate about life; he had a terrific sense of humour and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a great friend to many, and his amazing singing voice and talent on the guitar was frequently the highlight of many get-togethers with family and friends. He also enjoyed bush rides and camping, but most of all, Harold loved time spent with “his boys” (grandkids). First and foremost in Harold’s life was always his family. He was so proud of them! Harold was a constant in their lives; they always knew how much he loved them. Harold’s legacy will live on forever within the hearts of those who loved him most.
