Bill Frolic died peacefully at home in Sparwood, BC on September 22nd, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Bill was born on March 28th, 1943 in Fort William (Thunder Bay), ON to parents Olga and Henry Frolic.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Olga Frolic in 1999 and father, Henry Frolic in 1978. He is survived by his younger brother, Bob Frolic; Bill's wife of 62 years, Betty-Lou Frolic; his children: Jason (Teri) Frolic, Tracy (Tom) Steinke, and Brodie Frolic; grandchildren: Alyx, Jordan, Carly, Hannah, Summer, and Emery and seven great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
Bill and Betty Lou married in Atikokan, ON, on November 9th, 1963. In January, 1980, the family relocated from Atikokan, ON to Elkford, BC where Bill became employed at Fording River Operations until he retired. Bill enjoyed being with his family, years of camping, boating, and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs.
A private celebration of life will be held with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
