It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Hunt with family and friends by his side, after a battle with cancer, on December 18, 2025, in Fernie BC.
Bill is predeceased by his wife, Pauline in 2016; son, Steve in 2017, and father, William Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret; brother, Steve (Dawn); son, Wayne (Kelly), and by his son Steve’s three children: Dalton, Dallis, and Dalynne.
Bill started Elk Valley Glass in Sparwood where he worked for many years. When he was not working Bill was often out hunting, horseback riding, fishing or at the rifle range.
Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Elk Valley Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to our grandfather.
In respect for Bills wishes, no formal service will be held.
