Tyson "Dankcat" FERENC

Tyson Steve Ferenc, affectionately known as “Dankcat,” passed away on October 1, 2025, at 5:18pm at The Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Tyson was an organ donor, selflessly giving the gift of life to four individuals through his generosity.

Tyson was predeceased by his grandfather, Steve Ferenc, and grandmother, Jagie Fix. He leaves behind his parents, Steve and Teresa Ferenc; his brother, Hunter Ferenc; his beloved cat, Oreo; as well as a close circle of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Tyson will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tyson was pursuing his studies at Polytech in Lethbridge, working towards becoming a welder. He was passionate about gaming, especially escape from Tarkov, was learning the art of tattooing, and enjoyed fishing. Tyson was known for his quick wit and humour. Upon turning eighteen, he set his sights on mastering the game of Blackjack.
