In Loving Memory of Thomas Joseph Hallbauer 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph Hallbauer on June 8, 2026.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 40 years, Sandra Hallbauer; his daughter, Alexandra Henze (Brock); and his grandchildren, Denver and Piper Henze. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Hallbauer, as well as his siblings, Russell Hallbauer and family, and Cathy Barron and family. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Hallbauer.

Following in his father's footsteps, Tom began his career in the mining industry, where he spent many years building a reputation for hard work and determination. At the age of 40, he chose a new path and pursued his dream of farming. He purchased a property and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the farming life he loved. The farm became more than a livelihood, it was a source of pride, purpose, and many happy years spent working the land.

Tom lived life fully and on his own terms. He was passionate about hunting and fishing and found great happiness in the outdoors. Whether he was in the bush, on the water, or gathered around a table sharing stories, he was most at home surrounded by good friends and good company.

A fantastic friend to many, Tom was known for his larger-than-life personality, quick wit, and unmistakable zest for life. He had a laugh that could be recognized from a distance and a gift for making people feel welcome. His stories, humour, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, his memory will live on in the family he loved, the friendships he cherished, and the countless stories and memories shared by those whose lives he touched.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.

He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
