Shirley MORRIS Obituary

Shirley passed away in her own home on January 13, 2022 at the age of 93.

Mom is survived by her children, Suzanne (Gord), Bob (Sheridan), and Linda (Mitch), four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and her gorgeous cat Jasmine. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2006.

Shirley and Jim came to Fernie in 1948. After brief stints living in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Calgary they returned to their beloved Fernie.

Mom lived an active life as choir director and organist for Knox United, curling, and learning to ski with her kids. She loved being at Tie Lake and tried waterskiing, once.

Mom loved dogs and cats to the extreme. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cranbrook SPCA.
