On March 19, 2025, Shirley passed away peacefully at the age of 88 year with her three sons and daughters-in-law by her side. She was born in Saint John, NB on September 29, 1936, to parents Jack and Edna Robinson.
Shirley was a gentle soul and a lovely lady who could catch and clean a fish, haul a load of firewood home, and shovel the driveway all in the same day. She loved her family and pets with all her heart and would make a friend out of a stranger. She loved living in the mountains and driving clear to the top with Billy. She also enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, travelling, hiking, yard sales, and comfortable sitting by the fire.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Mark (Laurie), Michael (Rose), & Doug (Kyla); grandchildren, Amber, Corey (Alexandra), Riley (Kristy), Natasha (Mitch), Stephanie, Taya (Brett) and Tyce (Katie), and great grandchildren, Colt, Tanner, Ella, Luna, Alden, Hunter, Amaya, & Theo.
Cremation was held as per her wishes and her ashes to be eternally kept with her husband Joseph William (Bill) Brideau who predeceased her December 11, 2018.
