Raymond Peter Pisoni passed away peacefully at the Elk Valley Hospital on May 13, 2022 after a lengthy and courageous battle with liver disease and many underlying conditions.
Raymond was born in Fernie, BC on October 6, 1952 to parents Peter and Pauline. He was raised in Sparwood, living there until he met and married his wife of 40 years, Mary.
Ray enjoyed his career as a heavy-duty mechanic and loved his family. To him, time with family was everything. Together they enjoyed camping, family dinners and holidays; his favourites being Halloween and Christmas. The Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club and the Legion were his passions. Ray was always available to help and lend a hand with nothing, or with everything.
Cherishing his memories are his wife, Mary; children Michael (Mia) and Millie (Andrew); grandchildren Courtney (Andrew), Mable (Perry), Steve (Rita) and AJ (Alexis); great grandchildren Violet, Callie, Georgia, Norah, and Danika; and siblings Tony and Linda as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
