Peter Elio BELLINA

We are saddened to announce that Peter Elio Bellina passed away peacefully at Kootenay Street Village on August 17, 2022.  He was born May 17, 1943 in Casara, Italy and emigrated to Canada in February 1953.

Peter is survived by his loving wife Beverley Bellina, his children Connie (Chris), Paul, Jason (Julie), Megan (Dermot), his sister Mirella Terris, niece Natalie, his grandchildren Tesla, Zachery, Samantha, Ryder and Rylen and his cousins Sandra (Larry), Tyler (Tara) and Alissa. He will also be missed by many other relatives both here and in Italy, and by many friends he made through hunting, fishing and his years of service in the Elk Valley coal mines.

He was predeceased by his parents Angelina and Elio Bellina, his brother Jimmy, and his step-daughter Kelly McDonnell.

Peter loved the outdoors.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had many hobbies including cooking, gardening, and reading.  Peter enjoyed having company and showing newcomers around the valley that he loved. He was happiest when he was out in the bush with his dog and the quiet of nature.

Bev would like to thank and acknowledge all of Peter's caregivers, doctors, nurses, and people who helped during this last phase of his life.
