Mies VANDENBOS Obituary

On Sunday, April 5, 2020, our beloved mother and grandmother, Mies Vandenbos, passed away quietly at the age of 90 years. She was born in Rotterdam, Holland on April 28, 1929 to parents Victor and Maria Haas.

Mies moved to Sparwood in 1996 with her husband Ari, transitioning into Lilac Terrace where Mies remained until her passing.

She is survived by daughters Jackie (Eric), Nelly (Dave), and Helen (Trevor), her son Edward, and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ari and daughter Joan.

The Vandenbos family extend their heartfelt appreciation to Mies’s Lilac Terrace family for their love and support.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lilac Terrace greatly appreciated.
