Michael Robert Keays passed away in Cranbrook, BC. He was born in Sparwood, BC on August 15, 1991.

Michael is survived by his children, Beau and Paisley Keays and their mother Katherine Keays; his parents Donald and Nora Keays; mother and father in-law Missy and Steven Markus; sister Sarrah Keays (Lee Madsen) and children Arya and Rhett; sister Kathleen Gilbert (Justin) and children Amelia, Callie, and Boston; and sister-in-law Jessica Markus. He will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Michael loved spending time with his beautiful children. They were such an important part of his life. Michael was a cowboy at heart and was often seen with his big belt buckles and cowboy hat. Michael also enjoyed many outdoor activities like mountain biking and off road four-wheeling.
