Margaret "Peg" WALL

Margaret (Peg) Wall passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 28, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.  Daughter of the late Harry Frank (Bud) and Marge Dixon.

Peg was a beloved wife and best friend to Larry (Wally) Wall, loving mother to Christine (Chrissy) Brundage, cherished grandmother to Jaclyn, Shelby and Brent, great grandmother to Aubrey and Axel, stepmother to Dana Wall (Adria) and Stephanie Nicolle, and step-grandmother to Marshall, Hailey, Alex, Marley, Jason, and Taylor.  She will be lovingly mourned by siblings John Dixon, Bud (June) Dixon, and Laurie Johnson, sister-in-law to Bob (Elaine) Wall, Sandy Fraser, and Sue Dixon.  Peg will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews and her dog, Breezer.

Predeceased by brother Don Dixon, in-laws Evelyn and Gordon Bruce, Art Wall, and sister-in-law Marcia (Bruce).

Born in Stratford, Ontario, she first met Larry in grade school in 1965.  Though life took them in different directions, they found each other again in 1990, marrying in 1992 and were together for 31 years.  Peg’s life in Sparwood included working at The Fox, Husky gas station, Shades of Country and The Thrift Shop.  Peg was known for her sense of humour and mischievous pranks.  A great friend to many, she had a way of making anyone feel important and special.  The stories she told will remain forever in our hearts.  Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

A special thank you to the many doctors and nurses that cared for Peg in the last two months of her life.

The love and support of her many friends helped to keep her positive outlook.  For this we will always be grateful.

Cremation has taken place.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice or The Canadian Cancer Society.
