Kenneth JOHNS Obituary

Ken Johns passed away October 2, 2023 at the age of 68. He was born September 12, 1955 in Redvers, Saskatchewan.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Marion and Donald Johns, his sisters Diane Johns and Brenda Goetz, and his brother-in law Greg Metz. He is survived by his daughter Krista Skoretz (Evan), his grandson Nicholas, and his sister Irene Metz (Shaun, Alicia, and Riley).

Ken moved from Saskatchewan to find work in Elkford in his youth and was captivated by the beauty and the outdoor activities that the Elk Valley had to offer. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, gold panning, and camping in the area. He also enjoyed picking wild strawberries and often mixed them into his soft serve ice cream. One of his favourite hikes was heading out to the Elk Lakes with his daughter.

There will be no memorial service at this time.
