In Loving Memory
John Tegart, 82 years old, went home to be with his Lord on October 30, 2023 at the Elk Valley Hospital.
John is survived by his three daughters, Christine, Jackie (Keith), and Joanne. He has seven grandchildren: Randi Amber, Brady, Jacob, Kyra, Jody, Cody, and Caleb, six great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Ryan, Kaleia, Kenzie, Jeremiah, and Julia.
A good father and a hard worker, he instilled in his children a good work ethic and a love for animals. John loved the outdoors and spent his work time as welder, a logger, a mechanic and a road builder. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, watching his girls play basketball and playing cards - especially poker.
We will miss his humor, affection, and his stories.
The family would like to thank his many friends at the Villa, the Cranbrook and Fernie hospitals, and the many friends who came to visit him.
At John's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Elk Valley hospital.
