John PARKER Obituary

John Parker (Bear), born November 25,1958 passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2021 in the place he loved, Camp.

John is survived by his wife Melanie (Serafini); son Joe (Crystal); grandsons Benjamin and Justin; his mom Bertha Krause (Hutchinson), and three sisters: Jeanette, Joanne, Jackie and families.

He loved anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, horses. His energy was electric. Anyone who met him, instantly loved him. His connection with animals was magical to watch. John was always willing to lend a hand and never expected anything in return. He could fix anything. His leather workmanship was beautiful; he spent many hours with his dear friend Brian at his Saddle Shop.

John’s dear friend Eddy said it best. “I have a lot of friends, but none I have laid my life in their hands and their life in my hands. That’s how special our bond was. Nobody on earth I would rather have by my side in the bush.”

John cherished family and friendships. He enjoyed having Larry & Eddy on his packing adventures.

We will miss his laugh, sense of humour and “can-do” attitude.

John wouldn’t want anyone to sit around and be sad. That being said, we invite you to come and celebrate his life on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM @ Crystal and Joe’s, 7040 Stubbs Road, Hosmer BC.
