Jean Millicent BEDDOME

Jean Millicent Beddome (nee Wilson) passed away August 31st 2021 at Rocky Mountain Village Care Home in Fernie, British Columbia.  She was born in Killarney, Manitoba February 27, 1931.  She spent 45 years raising her family in Amherst, New York and Southern California.  Then she moved out to Fernie in 2001 to be closer to her daughter Dawn.

She is survived by her sister Ruth Knudsen; her children: Dawn (Vern) Falat, Darlene (John) McFetridge, Dale (Elaine) Beddome, Dean (Alicia) Beddome, and David (Marlene) Beddome; twelve grandchildren and two great granddaughters.   She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends.

There will be a private graveside ceremony at St. Margaret’s Cemetery Saturday, September 25th at 11am.  The Beddome family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Village for the care that they gave to Jean over the last ten years.  For those preferring to give donations in lieu of flowers the family is asking to send donations to The Caregivers Network for East Kootenay Seniors (https://www.caregiversnetworkek.com/get-involved/).
