Fredrick "Fritz" CALDWELL Obituary

On Sunday, October 2, 2022, Fred “Fritz” Caldwell passed away peacefully at Rocky Mountain Village in Fernie, BC. He was born on January 1, 1939 to Victor and Bertha Caldwell.


Fred was predeceased by his wife Andrea Maria Caldwell of nearly 50 years on February 18, 2010.


Fritz was a lover of the outdoors; fishing, hunting, and camping with friends and family meant the world to him.


Left to mourn his passing is his son Ken (Carol) Caldwell with his grandson Kurtis (Emily), his daughter Sherry (Albert) Harrison with grandchildren Karly Harrison and Tamara Bannatyne, and great grandsons Alex and Aaron Bannatyne.


We would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Village for the care and support given to dad, and also to Dr. Stimson and Dr. Geddes for their care throughout the years.


Till we meet again, Dad.


The Celebration of Life will be held at Cherished Memories “Serenity Chapel” on Saturday, October 8th at 1:00 PM with inurnment to follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery. Please join us for snacks and drinks at Ken & Carol’s place, #7 Ridgemont Drive afterwards.
