Erma WESTERBY Obituary

Erma Ellen Westerby passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Rocky Mountain Village in Fernie at the age of 82 years.

Erma was born on October 8, 1939 in Pincher Creek, AB to Lorne and Ellen Bustard. She is survived by her children: Debbie (Bob) MacRae of Elkford, Willie (Michele) Westerby of Fernie, and Dan Westerby of Cranbrook; six grandchildren: Chris, Kayla, John, Aaron, Chelsea, and Savannah; five great grandchildren: Casion, Silas, Wyatt, Madelyn, and Bodie, and her sister Lorraine McBride of Breton, AB as well as several nieces and nephews. Erma was predeceased by her grandson Michael Westerby in 1984, and by her son Smiley Westerby in 2002.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held by Erma’s request.

A big “Thank You” to the staff at Rocky Mountain Village for the love and care they gave our mom during her residency there. Also thank you to John and Lynda from Cherished Memories for their love, support and kindness while helping us with the arrangements for mom.
