Elizabeth Bokor died peacefully in Fernie, BC on June 12, 2024. She was born in Drachten, the Netherlands, on June 7, 1929.

Ellie, as she was often called, was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Thomm (Alita) and Bill (Lisa); by two granddaughters, Tryna and Amalee; and four great grandchildren. She will be missed by her many friends in the Elk Valley as well as throughout western Canada.

Elizabeth requested that there be no service on her behalf, but any who wish are welcome to share a memory about her on an Instagram account, “olesilvertop”.

The family want to express our appreciation and thanks to Dr. Rader and the staff at the Sparwood Health Care Centre, Elk Valley Hospital, Columbia House in Invermere and Rocky Mountain Care Village in Fernie, for the wonderful care given to Ellie during the past several years.
