Earla Rose SAMEL

Earla Samel (nee Clark) died peacefully on May 8, 2022 at the Rocky Mountain Care Village in Fernie, BC. She was born February 21,1930 in Swan River, MB. Earla married Ken Samel on February 26, 1948 in Swift Current, SK.

Earla was predeceased by her husband Ken Samel and daughter Earla Clark, and by her son-in-law Don Robinson. She is survived by her son Ken (Wanda) Samel Jr. and daughters Beryletta Robinson and Betty (Roger) Hutton. Earla is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and7 great great grandchildren.

She was a very social person and warmly accepted anyone who wanted to be a part of her family. Earla was a stay-at-home mom who was always there for her husband and children. Her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses was a major part of her life. She tried to instill her beliefs in her family and others.

We would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Village for their loving care for the last five years. We also want to thank Dr. Lisa Tessler for her care and concern.
