Doreen (Danielson) NEIDIG

Doreen Susan Neidig (nee Danielson) of Fernie, B.C. passed away peacefully in the Fernie District Hospital, on Saturday June 7th, 2025, at the age of eighty-five years.

She was born in Fernie on August 30th, 1939.

Doreen was well known for being so welcoming, her cheerfulness and love of life.

She was predeceased by her husband Allan after fifty-five years of marriage.

She is survived by her son, Brad (Shelley); daughter Tracey (Dan); three grandchildren: Kyle (Emmy), Christine (Eric), Karla, and three great-grandchildren: Mason, Maddison, and Nixon.

Doreen was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who met her.

She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The Neidig family would like to thank Dr. Pearce and the staff at Fernie Hospital for the wonderful care and attention given to Doreen. Also thank you to Dr. Guimond at Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, A.B. for her kind and compassionate care.
