Delores HARTLEY

Delores Hartley “Doley” died peacefully on March 3, 2025 in Fernie, BC. She was born on Jan 24, 1937 in Loon Lake Saskatchewan.

Delores was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John, in 2014; her father, Adam Rambold; mother, Ruth Preston and sisters, Alein Czernicki, and Cathy Morley. Delores will be dearly missed by her children, Keith (Kathy Murray), Brad (Val Young), Tammy (Eric Schmidt); grandchildren, Lee (Kimmie), Shea (Janelle), Sean (Tahlia), Zack, Rebecca Schmidt (Anthony), Alex; siblings, Frank Rambold, Joan Hutchinson, Mary Lynch, Sonya Doerfler, Loretta (Doug) Abbey, and Linda (John) Mourin; former daughters-in-law, Ramona and Leona; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews along with her fur baby, Freya.

Delores and John married in Fernie in 1960. When their children became school age, Delores returned to work at the Bank of Montreal, TD bank & IGS. She was a lifelong member of her church. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

The Hartley family would like to thank the doctors and staff of both the Elk Valley Hospital & Rocky Mountain Village for the wonderful care given to Mom.
