Cindy HOUSE

It is with tremendous heartache that we announce the sudden passing of Cindy House, who died in the Hinton Hospital, surrounded by her family, on May 9, 2024.

Cindy Elaine Selseotes was born in North Bay, ON, on April 9, 1958, to Alex and Ann Selseotes. She was the third of four children. Her family moved out West to White Rock, BC, in 1964, before finally settling in Fernie in 1967.

Fernie is where she met lifelong friends Belinda Storey, Barb Neidig, and the love of her life, Brian House. Brian and Cindy were married December 16, 1978, and were blessed with two beautiful children: daughter, Betty Ann in 1980 and son Alex at Christmastime 1981. Cindy’s greatest blessings are her three grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.

Cindy will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Brian; daughter Betty-Ann Cupello (Mike); granddaughters Angelika and Aubrey, and grandson, Morgan along with numerous friends and family.

Cindy was sadly predeceased by her beloved son, Alex, her parents, and her mother-in-law Violet House.
