Cinderella COOK

Cindy Cook passed away on December 23, 2024 in Fernie, BC. She was born on June 22, 1948 in Trinity, Bonavista Bay, NFLD.

She is survived by her husband, Murray; children, Monty (Christine) and Terri-Lynn; grandchildren, Steven, Heather (Alex), Andrew and Dylan and great-grandson, Henri. She will be missed by many other relatives and close friends.

Cindy was involved in many charities and causes including March of Dimes, the Cancer society, Childfind BC and Heart and Stroke. She worked as a bookkeeper and enjoyed helping friends and family with taxes. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, cards and cross-stitching.

According to Cindy’s wishes, there will not be a service or gathering.

The Cook family would like to express their appreciation to several healthcare workers, especially acknowledging Dr. Galic, Dr. Michael, the numerous nurses and orderlies at the Elk Valley Hospital, as well as the incredible home care providers with Interior Health.
