Carol Dawn CRUMP

Carol Dawn Crump (Baerg) passed away peacefully in Fernie on August 1, 2025, at the age of 81.

Dawn was predeceased by her husband, Rick, in 2014, and her daughter, Jackie, in 2021. She is survived by her son, Greg.

Born in Saskatoon, Dawn lived in Pinawa and Calgary before eventually finding her home in Fernie, B.C. Her home there was a dream she and Rick built 25 years ago. Dawn especially loved summers in Fernie, visiting friends. She spent time at the pool, playing canasta, quilting, knitting, and travelling. Dawn’s real passion was riding her e-trike to the Fernie Golf Course, where she was an avid golfer and a proud member of the Fernie Senior Ladies League.

Thank you to the incredible staff at the Elk Valley Hospital for the wonderful care she received in her final days.

At Dawn’s request, there will not be a ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
