Carl Knut ANDERSON

Carl Knut Anderson died peacefully on May 13th, 2025. Carl is survived by his wife Aline Borkowski, to whom he was a loving husband for 52 years. He will be fondly remembered by his children Roxann (Rick) German, Barry Borkowski, and John (JoAnne) Borkowski, and his grandchildren Shane (Kelly), Dylan, Andrei and Connor. Carl will also be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Carl was  born on September 13, 1937 in Canwood, Saskatchewan and moved to the Elk Valley where he spent his remaining years enjoying his love of the outdoors, horses, dog sledding and music either playing it or listening to his favourite musician, Merle Haggard.

The Anderson family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Elk Valley Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to Carl.

There will be no service as per Carl's wishes and in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Carl's name to Angel Flight East Kootenay.
