Brian SCHMIDT

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brian Robert Schmidt on April 19, 2025.

Brian was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, and built a meaningful life through hard work, kindness, and dedication. He was a proud and talented project manager and surveyor—organized, meticulous, and deeply committed to his profession. Brian was also a loyal member of the Lions Club, faithfully donating his time and energy to their work. Supporting the Lions was important to him, and his family knows he would be honored to see their efforts carried on.

Brian was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Schmidt, and her husband, Andrew Kehler, along with their daughters, Victoria, and Emma; and by his son, Aaron Schmidt, and Aaron’s wife, Keanna Schmidt, and their daughter, Ella. He is also survived by his sister, Lynne Shearer, and her children, Lauren and Grant.

Brian will be deeply missed by extended family, neighbors, and many friends who knew him as generous, warm-hearted, and deeply loyal. He especially valued his time spent with loved ones, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by his family.
