Our mountain man Brad passed away unexpectedly in his home in Sparwood, BC on October 7, 2022. He was 57 years old.

We will remember Brad forever on a pair of skis or on a bike, his love of the mountains, his smile, his laugh, and his endless energy.

Predeceased by his parents and a brother-in-law, Brad is survived by his sisters, Sue and Alison (John), and his brother, Dana (Tannis), nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, many friends and acquaintances, and an incredible community of close friends in both Sparwood and Fernie.

Brad was born in Calgary, AB on October 1, 1965, the youngest of four and the only one born in Alberta and would be referred to by his parents as “Alberta Boy”. Brad graduated from Red River Community College in Winnipeg with a diploma in Advertising Art and worked as a graphic designer in Regina and Calgary and although successful, the mountains kept calling. Brad spent the last 15 years or so living in Sparwood, BC while working at the Fernie Alpine Resort.
