It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister Annie Elizabeth Burlingham (nee Green) on December 10th.
Annie leaves six children to cherish her memory: Carolyn, Michael, Edward, Edna, Louise, and Gina. Annie will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Edna and Leona, brother Roland, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter Ella, husband Herbert, parents, four brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
Annie was born on September 29, 1933, on a farm near Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. Annie spent her early childhood there moving to the Elk Valley as a teenager. Though she moved away several times over the years, she always gravitated back to the Elk Valley and the mountains she loved. Annie loved art poetry and dabbled in both as well as sewing and crocheting.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
