Patricia Marie GANCI

On July 17, 2018 Patricia came to rest in Sparwood due to health issues. Pat was born in England to parents Richard and Gladys Ewen. Pat married Lou Ganci and lived in Ontario where they raised 3 children. In June of 1975 they moved out west to reside in the beautiful Elk Valley. In the summer of 1983 they started to build their dream home on Hwy 43 north of Sparwood where they resided until their passing.
Patricia worked many jobs prior to moving to BC. When she arrived in Sparwood she worked at the Co-op store and later took a job at the Sparwood Hospital where she worked for many years. Pat was very strong willed and a fighter; she fought bouts of cancer and open-heart surgery to name a few illnesses and beat the odds many times. The passing of her best friend and husband Lou of 63 years on Christmas Day 2017 took its toll and on July 17, 2018 she went to join her beloved "Louie". We will miss our Mom and grandmother along with our Dad... God rest both your souls
Patricia is survived by her younger sister Barbara Weber of Ontario, her sons Carson [Cathy] and Guy [Tammi}, her daughter Lynn [Tony], 5 grandchildren: Cody, Jackie, Joey, Patrick and Aislinn and their spouses, and 7 great grandchildren: Anika, Emmery, Isley, Easton, Julia, Olivia, and Georgia.
