Keith Allan GALE

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Keith Allan Gale on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at the young age of 42.

Keith was born January 7th 1977, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, to parents Terry and Carol Gale, and is the middle sibling to Traci and Matthew. The family moved to Fernie in 1982, where he went to school and made lifelong friendships as a result of the love and support his family gave him. Growing up, his passion was playing sports and going to concerts.

Following high school, Keith moved to Lethbridge for college and met the “girl next door” Jennifer, who turned out to be the love of his life. Keith and Jennifer then moved to Calgary and got married in 2004. Soon after Jadyn and Cameron entered their world, making their family complete. Keith loved his family with his entire heart and soul.

Keith worked hard and took his career very seriously. While working for Husky Energy he was studying for his accounting designation. He successfully completed his studies and graduated with his CPA. Shortly after graduating he secured a position with Graham Construction where he developed many strong and lasting friendships. 

Keith enjoyed camping with his family and friends. Koocanusa was his “happy place” where he spent many memorable summers.  Keith’s dry sense of humour, quick wit and inappropriate comments by the campfire will leave an irreplaceable void in our hearts.

Travelling with his family was important to Keith. Many memorable trips included Europe, Disneyland, Mexico and Hawaii. Jennifer, Jadyn and Cameron will cherish these memories forever.  Keith’s most recent trip to Germany for Oktoberfest with Jennifer and his cousins was a celebration they will never forget.

Keith leaves behind his wife and “person” Jennifer Jackson Gale; his children, Jadyn Elise and Cameron Brian; his parents Terry and Carol Gale; his sister, Traci (Chris) and brother Matthew (Alison); his niece, Brooklynn (Dean) and nephews, Jordan, Liam, and Mason; his mother in law Arlene; and brother in law Danny (Christy); Aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins; so many special friends and loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. In honour of Keith’s passion for music Jennifer has requested guests wear their favorite concert t-shirts. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
