Devon Henry Joseph HARDER

Devon Henry Joseph Harder, 18, of Sparwood, BC, passed away on October 28, 2018 in Lethbridge, AB.

Devon was born in Sparwood, BC to Kari Endicott and Eric Harder on December 30, 1999. He attended school at the Lethbridge Community College to study Criminal Justice.

Devon is predeceased by his grandfather Clive Endicott, and his grandmother, Christine Harder.

Devon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kari and Rob Allardice; his father Eric Harder; his siblings: Hailly Harder, Korbyn Allardice and Charli Allardice, and grandparents Robin Endicott (Jim Poch), Delma Allardice, and John and Rose Harder as well as several aunts, uncles, and extended families.

Devon was a kind-hearted, funny, and loving young man. He always found the good in people and left a piece of himself wherever he went. Devon had a special way with young children; they seemed to attach themselves to him because of his easy-going manner and quirky goofiness. At a young age, Devon was introduced to video games such as Pac Man and Super Mario and continued to challenge himself with more sophisticated games. He not only loved video games, but he also enjoyed card games such as Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons and Dragons. Devon loved spending time with friends and family enjoying a good game of cards, or just sitting around the fire making faces at everyone. Devon will be missed by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

Devon’s family would graciously accept donations in lieu of flowers. All donations received will go towards a Safe Talk Suicide Prevention presentation that would be done in honour of Devon in the Elk Valley Communities.
